As an HR Apprentice, you will work closely with the HR Director, gaining experience and guidance as you build your career in Human Resources. This is a generalist role, offering exposure to all aspects of the HR function, including medical staffing, HR administration, and compliance. You will play an integral part in supporting key HR processes while developing a solid foundation in HR best practices.
The successful candidate will be based at our Bewdley Medical Centre and will be enrolled in a CIPD-accredited Level 3 HR Apprenticeship Programme, combining academic study with real-world HR experience.

Main duties of the job
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated HR Apprentice to join our small, supportive team and gain hands-on experience while working towards a CIPD Level 3 qualification.
As an HR Apprentice, you'll play a key role in supporting the entire employee life-cycle, from recruitment and onboarding to career development and compliance. You'll work closely with managers to implement a staff bank and support both medical and administrative staffing processes.

Job responsibilities
* Support the HR team in delivering comprehensive HR services across the organization.
* Work with managers to develop and implement a staff bank for medical and administrative staffing.
* Maintain and update employee records, ensuring compliance with employment legislation and internal policies.
* Support HR compliance processes, including right-to-work checks, DBS checks, and reference requests.
* Assist in administering HR policies and procedures, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
* Provide initial HR support to employees and managers, responding to general queries.
* Support payroll administration by ensuring accurate recording of employee data.
* Assist with coordinating training and development initiatives for staff.
* Participate in HR projects, such as employee engagement initiatives and policy updates.

Qualifications
