This isn’t your average 9-to-5. We are seeking a highly capable and proactive Operations Manager to become the engine room of our company and work closely with the CEO to support scaling the business.
Responsibilities
As the operational core of un:hurd, you will have a broad and impactful remit:
* Finance & Administration
o Manage relationships with accounts partners, including monthly submissions, expenses, and financial reconciliation.
o Oversee invoicing, raising client invoices and processing supplier payments in a timely manner.
o Run office management and administrative functions to maintain a productive environment.
o Provide high-level support to the CEO, including managing complex scheduling and key meetings.
* People & Culture
o Oversee core HR functions, onboarding, holiday tracking, and employee records.
o Champion company culture by organising team events and initiatives that enhance the workplace.
* Music & Campaign Operations
o Provide administrative support for music and advertising campaigns, including metadata management, release scheduling, and platform liaison.
o Handle ads-related administration, data entry, and support for the marketing team.
* Special Projects & Strategy
o Lead special projects from conception to completion (e.g., office revamp, grants applications).
o Serve as a point of contact for external partners on basic legal, admin, operations or PR matters.
o Prepare for and run internal operational meetings, ensuring alignment and tracked action items.
o Demonstrate organization, proactive problem-solving, communication, commercial awareness, adaptability, and a can-do attitude.
Qualifications / Attributes
* A Natural Organiser with a process-driven mindset and exceptional attention to detail; able to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines.
* A Proactive Problem-Solver who identifies needs and implements effective solutions without waiting for direction.
* An Excellent Communicator with strong written and verbal skills, comfortable with diverse stakeholders.
* Commercially Astute, comfortable with numbers, spreadsheets, and basic financial concepts.
* Adaptable & Tech-Savvy, thrives in a fast-paced startup environment and can master new software (e.g., Xero, Slack, Notion, Jira, Figma).
* A "No Task is Too Small" Attitude; willing to assist across tasks, from scheduling to grant proposals.
* A Passion for Music/Tech and a genuine interest in our operations.

Location & Compensation
Location: Our office is based in Tileyard, London (N7 9AH). This is a hybrid role, with remote work on Monday and Friday and in the office Tuesday to Thursday. Salary: Up to £50k.
