Biology Teacher – Secondary (Middlesbrough) Location: Middlesbrough Contract: Full-time / Part-time / Supply / Long-term Start Date: ASAPProtocol Education is working with secondary schools across Middlesbrough to recruit a Biology Teacher to deliver engaging and high-quality lessons across KS3 and KS4. This role is suitable for QTS-qualified teachers, ECTs, and experienced cover supervisors or teaching assistants with strong Biology subject knowledge.The Role: Deliver engaging and well-structured Biology lessons, including practical experiments and theoretical learning. Provide effective classroom cover when required. Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all students. Maintain strong behaviour management and a safe, positive learning environment. Support students in developing scientific enquiry, analytical thinking, and practical laboratory skills. The Ideal Candidate: Holds QTS or has relevant classroom experience in Biology (teachers, cover supervisors, or TA cover). Confident teaching Biology across KS3–KS4 (KS5 experience desirable but not essential). Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for science education. Reliable, adaptable, and proactive.
