As a Field Service Engineer, you will be the face of BEUMER on the frontlines—troubleshooting, maintaining, and optimizing cutting-edge materials handling equipment at customer sites.
You will thrive in a dynamic, hands-on environment where no two days are the same. Your responsibilities include preventive maintenance, emergency breakdown repairs, problem-solving, maintaining operational efficiency, and making a tangible impact.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Work independently and as part of a team on various customer sites across the UK and Ireland.
2. Produce detailed reports related to BEUMER sortation, material handling, and industrial products.
3. Conduct health checks, servicing, support installation projects, handle warranty issues, respond to breakdowns, and provide operational/residential site coverage.
4. Deliver training to customers and other BEUMER engineers as required.
5. Travel nationwide, including Ireland, with some international travel involved.
6. Perform diversified electrical and mechanical tasks, including analytical troubleshooting, in planned and reactive environments.
7. Populate RAMS documents related to tasks and ensure adherence to H&S standards.
8. Take responsibility for own health and safety and assist colleagues in maintaining a safe work environment.
Qualifications
Ideally possess an electrical engineering background – ONC or equivalent.
Experience:
* Similar roles in logistics and/or material handling equipment; Automation Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Electrician, or similar background.
