Morph Design Studio is a small Architectural practice, set in the heart of the Surrey Hills and we have an opportunity for a experianced Part 2 Architectural Assistant to join our growing studio.
Although we span many Geographies, we have a particular focus on Residential projects in Surrey & London and we require a highly motivated, talented person to assist with our growing workload of exciting projects in the pipeline.
We are looking for experienced Part 2 candidates, you should be able to demonstrate sufficient experience running Residential Projects through the different work stages .
You would need to be confident and approachable, with the ability to lead projects, showing initiative at all times.
The following criteria is essential:
* You are currently residing and have a minimum of 2-3 years work experience in the UK
* You have good technical ability and experience of construction in the UK
* You are fluent in Vectorworks & SketchUp
* You have good sketching & hand drawing skills
* You have knowledge of a rendering package (can be connected to SketchUp) and Adobe creative suite software would be a plus
* You have excellent design & presentation skills
* You are fluent in written and spoken English
* You have experience of working on Planning Applications and Building Regulations on UK Residential projects
* You have experience of working with both clients and consultants
* Experience of training/mentoring Junior staff would be a plus
* Experience of Contract Administration would be a plus
We work from a small, rural Surrey Hills studio, surrounded by fields and have a fun, social atmosphere in our studio. We are a friendly and creative office and can provide excellent training to further your growth as an Architect.
