Role Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Day Service Support Worker to join our team. You will work alongside our experienced staff to support service users in accessing activities, developing social and life skills, and participating fully in the daily life of the Social Hub.
Key Responsibilities
* Support service users to participate in workshops, community activities and group sessions.
* Encourage social interaction, confidence building and independence.
* Assist with daily tasks, personal care and wellbeing as required.
* Help plan and deliver meaningful experiences that align with individual goals.
* Promote a safe, respectful and inclusive environment for everyone.
* Maintain accurate records and contribute to positive communication with colleagues and families.
What We're Looking For
* A caring, patient, and positive attitude.
* Experience (or willingness to gain experience) supporting adults with learning disabilities or similar sectors.
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
* An understanding of person-centred support and respect for individual choice and autonomy.
* Flexibility, reliability, and the ability to respond calmly to changing needs.
* Relevant qualifications (e.g., Health & Social Care, CACHE) are desirable but not essential — training can be provided.

Pay: From £12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 14 – 28 per week
