What you'll be doing
1. Handling of Highways Claims within
2. Liaising with stakeholders i.e members of the public, client (ESCC), operational teams
3. Investigate claims and establish if liability attaches, and if we have statutory defence under the S58 of the Highways Act 1980
4. Assess value of claims and accurately record reserves.
5. Prepare claims documentation for payment.
6. Document storage and file management
7. Manage data on various systems e.g., Insurance Database LACHS, Confirm, One Network, CRM JADU
8. Working with stakeholders to respond to appeals and complaints.
Who we're looking for
Essential
9. Excellent Customer Service
10. IT literate (Word and Excel) data entry
11. Must have experience of handling third party claims in either Public Liability or RTA.
12. Able to use initiative and adapt to change
13. Knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules
14. Good understanding of TCF and GDPR
15. Experience of prioritizing workload and working to deadlines to achieve targets.
Desirable
16. Knowledge of EL/PL protocol and Highways Act
17. CII Qualification
