About the Role
As a Residential Childcare Practitioner, you’ll work in a structured, therapeutic setting that helps vulnerable young people feel safe, supported, and empowered. You’ll act as a trusted role model, build secure relationships, and support recovery from trauma with empathy and consistency.
Responsibilities
* Be a therapeutic parent and positive influence
* Collaborate with education and wellbeing teams
* Lead structured, enriching activities
* Work flexible shifts incl. weekends, early/late, and sleep-ins
* Receive full induction and ongoing training
Qualifications
* Candidates must have the unrestricted right to work in the UK
Required Skills
* Passion for working with children and young people
* Emotional resilience, patience, and physical capability
* Experience in residential or secure settings (preferred)

Pay range and compensation package
£32,780–£35,564 (incl. £5,000 Market Supplement) | 37 hrs/week, Permanent
