We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Cleaner/Domestic Assistant to join our care home team. The successful candidate will help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
* Cleaning and sanitising communal areas, bedrooms, bathrooms, and offices
* Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting
* Emptying bins and disposing of waste safely
* Following infection control and health & safety guidelines
* Using cleaning products and equipment correctly
* Reporting any maintenance or safety issues to management
* Respecting the privacy and dignity of residents at all times
Requirements
* Previous cleaning experience (preferred but not essential)
* Ability to work independently and follow instructions
* Good attention to detail
* Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
* Understanding of hygiene standards in a care environment
* Right to work in the UK (or eligibility for sponsorship if applicable)
