Job Description
3. Responsibility of the group purchase ledger, including accurately posting supplier invoices and employee expenses, obtaining the required approval and dealing with supplier queries;
4. Setting up and ensuring timely weekly payments to employees and suppliers, in multi currencies;
5. Responsibility of the sales ledger, including accurately posting fee invoices to UK clients, client queries and posting sales receipts;
6. Preparation of monthly intercompany invoices involving regular communication with our Guernsey finance team;
7. Preparation of monthly bank reconciliations for several multi-currency bank accounts;
8. Assisting with the month end process, preparing journals and balance sheet reconciliations;
9. Assisting with the preparation of monthly payroll and pension contributions;
10. Assisting with the collation of benefit information for HMRC reporting, including P11D's and PSA returns;
11. Assisting in the preparation of quarterly VAT returns for both UK firms within the VAT group;
12. Other ad hoc duties including involvement in the year-end audit and other projects as and when they arise.
The Successful Applicant
13. 5+ years accounting experience / AAT qualified.
14. Proven track record in bookkeeping / month end process.
15. Excellent diligence / attention to detail.
16. Excellent organisation skills / time management.
17. Excellent oral, written and presentation communication skills.
18. Ability to work to multiple tight deadlines within a small team.
