Stride Recruitment are actively recruiting an ongoing or temp to perm HGV 2 Collections Driver to work out of our clients Environmental depot based in Suffolk, IP14 5AT with rates starting at £16.59 and £24.89 overtime over 37.5 hours with Inductions being held immediately. Core details: - 6am to 3.30pm daily, immediate induction availability and start dates. - Monday – Friday, overtime rate of 1.5x rate over 37.5 hours or 7.5 hours across a 5 day week. Sunday and Bank Holidays paid at double time. - Ongoing contract, weekly paye pay with opportunities for permanent employment after 6-months. Core duties: * Carry out refuse and recycling collections daily, with skills and knowledge of all machinery aspects of the job * Undertake all duties in a professional manner deploying safe lifting and handling techniques appropriate to articles left for removal * Use in-cab technology and mobile devices as directed * Complete relevant paperwork in real time * Carry out daily inspections and reporting for machinery and vehicles, before and after use * Ensure the cleanliness of machinery and vehicles. * Maintain excellent customer and client relations, particularly with members of the public and other motor users What you will need: * Valid HGV Class 2 driving licence (with no more than 6 points) * Driver CPC * Willingness to help refuse loaders while on your rounds to enable y...
