We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Senior Commercial Finance Manager to lead and govern our Commercial Finance Operations within Supply Management. This is a high-impact role where you will oversee a dedicated finance team, ensuring robust financial governance, accurate reporting, and alignment with global standards.
You will play a pivotal role in driving strategic financial planning, delivering actionable insights, and optimising vendor relationships. Your responsibilities include leading financial reviews of contracts, enhancing pricing accuracy, and supporting key commercial initiatives. Main Responsibilities
1. Oversee the Supply Management commercial finance team, with direct line management responsibility for team members and talent development.
2. Manage the maintenance of vendor product price files, ensuring high accuracy within the Product Database.
3. Engage with Finance Directors on inflation & segment income/product strategy.
4. Collaborate with UK&I Supply Management Function to deliver a commercially competitive supply chain.
5. Work with Supply Management teams on initiative and inflation forecasting, providing insightful and regular information regarding internal and market inflation.
6. Support the execution and deployment of key initiatives and projects to deliver a competitive supply chain.
7. Oversee monthly and quarterly submissions of regional volumes, savings, inflation, broker fees, and other KPIs.
8. Support the delivery of targets for initiatives, inflation management, and purchasing income through robust governance and reporting.
9. Participate in bid price and unit pricing meetings, reviewing and agreeing vendor negotiations.
10. Oversee benchmarking of product pricing vs external market and communicate actionable insights.
11. Expand Electronic Data Interchange to improve efficiencies related to vendor invoice processing.
The Ideal Candidate
* Qualified accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA) with relevant PQE.
* Understanding of inflation management.
* Experience with complex pricing models within a Supply Management Finance role.
* Strong analytical, commercial, technical, forecasting, and budgeting skills.
* High personal integrity and outstanding communication skills.
* Excellent stakeholder management and decision-making abilities.
* Resilient, energetic, and driven with change management experience.
* Ability to work under pressure and manage conflicting demands.
