12hr Shifts : 2 Days / 2 Nights / 4 Off : 7:Cycles then 18 days off

Would you like to work for a growing local business, that has the job security of being part of a multi:billion:pound global manufacturer, at their flagship UK site.
They are looking for an experienced Shift Engineer, that is mechanically biased, working a shift rota that gives you 90 days off a year + off days in between shifts
Role and Responsibilities of a Shift Engineer:
* Maintain all production, processing and packaging machinery
* Electrical and mechanical fault finding and repairs
* Complete PPM and TPM schedules
* Dealing with motors, conveyors, PLCs, gearboxes, drives, sensors, hydraulics, pneumatics
* Project work : new machine installs and continuous improvements
* Ordering spares, parts and maintain site CMMS
Knowledge, Skills and Experience need to be a Shift Engineer:
* Looking for a multi:skilled engineer, with a mechanical biased
* Must have experience of working on industrial production, processing and packaging machinery
* At least 5 years experience outside of apprenticeship
* Ideally have competed a formal apprenticeship scheme
* NVQ or City Guilds qualified to level 3 or higher
* Must be happy working a rotating shift pattern, with holidays built into a yearly rota
* Computer literate : able to use SAP systems / CMMS
* Experience of working on hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, control panels, gearboxes
* Beneficial if able to do welding, fabrication and fitting work
* Passionate about reliability engineering, continuous improvements, asset care management
