Reporting to the MEP Construction Manager in Region, the key Requirements include:
* 3rd Level Building Services / Mechanical Engineering Degree and/or Trade background
* Minimum 3 years’ plus experience in a site-based MEP role
* Strong ability to collaborate and work as part of a high-performance team
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure Mechanical activities are completed safely, prioritizing Health and Safety of all stakeholders
* Lead by example in promoting company-specific Health & Safety policies and procedures
* Be aware of hazardous energies and site-specific management strategies (Lock Out Tag Out)
* Maintain full knowledge of project Mechanical systems and monitor installation for compliance with specifications and schedule
* Understand project commissioning requirements and assist in developing Commissioning Implementation Plans (CIPs)
* Conduct site inspections of Mechanical, BAS/BMS, MEP & CSA works for compliance
* Coordinate that areas meet CSA and MEP Quality standards for Beneficial Use
* Provide stakeholders with sufficient information for system installation progress
* Ensure contractors and vendors are adequately resourced to execute works successfully
* Review master construction schedule to optimize Mechanical and CSA activities
* Chair and contribute to onsite and offsite meetings with project stakeholders
* Issue weekly progress and cost reports as required
* Manage subcontractor activities, tracking progress and manpower
* Review and ensure production of necessary documentation by system stakeholders, including programs, work trackers, risk assessments, progress reports, and handover packs
