The Growth Company's (GC) Employment, Justice and Health Services team has an exciting opportunity for a Service Manager working on Creating Future Opportunities (CFO) Evolution programme.
This role will be to lead a team of delivery staff and support staff to ensure successful delivery of the CFO Evolution Activity Hubs contract to maximise the achievement of outcomes and deliver the performance expectations of commissioners.
We help to make a lasting difference to the lives of people throughout the North of England and beyond, by supporting individuals to gain meaningful employment through contractual provisions such as CFO. Our highly skilled advisers and keyworkers work with a range of individuals; from people who have found themselves recently out of work, to those with complex barriers such as physical disabilities, mental ill-health, Benefit, and debt.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure the successful delivery of team targets for commissioners.
* Maximise the placing and sustainment of participants into jobs or learning.
* Working closely with HMPP staff and stakeholders.
* Meet the recruitment and training needs of employers.
* Lead and support a team of delivery and support staff to drive high levels of contract performance.
* Responsibility for P&L account results including achievement of income targets, managing staff productivity, client spend and office costs.
* Development of local relationships to ensure a good range of provision to support participants.
* Delivery of high quality and compliant services to participants.
* Management of data integrity and data security, including maintenance of the required audit trail.
About You
* Confidently present to partner organisations and other stakeholders in particular, Governors and HMPPS.
* Ability to produce written reports to a good standard.
* Fluent user of ICT.
* Results-driven.
* Confident people manager.
Requirements
* Must have a strong understanding of the Justice Sector, Activity Hubs CFO Evolution interventions and services.
* Working knowledge of the principles of people management and employment law.
* Must have previous management experience.
* Understanding of MI and financial information.
* Good labour market knowledge.
* Knowledge of relevant policy (local and national).
* Track record of achieving tangible performance results.
* Have direct management of staff.
