Long-term Teachers are working with an alternative provision based in Quedgeley, seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, qualified teacher for a full-time, permanent position. You will plan and deliver lessons to primary level students who have been permanently excluded from mainstream schools. The role is challenging but rewarding, as you will help young people transition successfully to the next stage of their education.
You will work full-time, Monday to Friday, term time only. The position starts as soon as possible, initially on a temporary basis, with the potential to become permanent after passing probation.
The headteacher seeks a caring, dedicated teacher with the confidence to manage classroom behaviours. Passion for education and flexibility in lesson planning are essential. You will follow the UK curriculum, adapted to meet students’ needs, with opportunities for creative and outdoor learning. You will work closely with the SENCO and senior leadership team, with regular feedback opportunities on pupils’ development. Support from Learning Support Assistants will be provided to aid behaviour management.
