Operations Executive Position: Full time, permanent role Hours: 37.5 hours per week, 9.00 to 17.30 with flexibility Location: Farnborough, Hampshire ​ At Farnborough International we are known for running one of the world’s biggest and most prestigious airshows. Whilst we will continue to build on every airshow, we’re also on a journey to become more than this. ​ Our aim is to transform what we are known for – to make Farnborough International a globally recognised brand, famous for its pioneering spirit in delivering world class airshows and hosting business events in our state of the art 20,000 sqm exhibition and conference centre. ​ Farnborough International is looking to strengthen its world class organising team by recruiting an Operations Executive to deliver the highest level of operational service to the Operations team, Aerospace Events team, exhibitors, contractors and stakeholders. They will assist the delivery of all operational requirements for Farnborough International’s growing portfolio of organised events. ​ ​ The Role ​ The Operations Executive will have areas of responsibility for operational delivery at the Farnborough International Airshow (FIA) and Bahrain International Airshow (BIAS) as well as at other events organised by Farnborough International. They will ensure high levels of customer satisfaction are maintained, that deadlines are achieved and budgets closely controlled. ​ You will: ​ Build and maintain a good working relationship with suppliers and external agencies. Monitor supplier performance on site. Ensure internal and external customer needs are met by monitoring progress of customer requests, queries and resolution. Support the sales team in developing concepts, products and designs for stands, pavilions, chalets and sponsor opportunities Ensure that all activity is carried out in line with company H&S Policy. Schedule and arrange all internal and external operational meetings and produce minutes or actions logs as required. Assist in the production of tender documents and contractual agreements for operational contracts. Assist with the updating and maintaining of budgets, specifically tracking purchase orders and invoices, in collaboration with departmental managers and designated management accountant.
