We are looking for an experienced ESRI GIS Subject Matter Expert (SME) to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of a scalable GIS platform to support strategic energy planning and decision-making. This role involves consolidating and migrating diverse spatial datasets, ensuring high data quality, and enabling secure, role-based access and interoperability with other enterprise systems.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and deploy a scalable ESRI-based GIS platform (ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online, etc.).
* Define system architecture, integrations, and data flows across enterprise platforms.
* Migrate and consolidate legacy spatial datasets into a unified system.
* Develop spatial models for energy planning, environmental impact assessments, and forecasting.
* Build interactive dashboards and maps for stakeholder engagement.
* Establish data governance protocols and implement ETL workflows.
* Configure secure, role-based access controls and data sharing standards.
* Automate data ingestion, processing, and reporting workflows.
* Integrate GIS with enterprise tools (e.g., SAP, Power BI, AutoDesk).
* Develop custom tools using APIs and SDKs for enhanced interoperability.
Your Profile
* 8+ years of experience in GIS, with strong expertise in ESRI technologies.
* Proven track record in deploying ArcGIS Enterprise and managing spatial data infrastructures.
* Strong knowledge of spatial analysis, environmental modelling, and energy planning.
* Proficiency in Python, ArcPy, and ModelBuilder for automation.
* Hands-on experience with data migration, ETL tools, and system integration.
* Familiarity with cloud-based GIS deployments and hybrid architectures.
* Bonus: experience with participatory GIS/community engagement tools, and Agile methodologies
