We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Finance Manager to lead our financial operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing accurate management accounts, maintaining robust financial controls, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of finance functions using Xero. You will play a key role in financial planning, budgeting, and supporting strategic decision-making.

Key responsibility:
To organise and prepare accurate accounting records and produce timely financial information for the Operations Director and Franchise owners, the company accountant and HMRC
Duties will include:
* Prepare and present timely and accurate monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and variance analysis.
* Oversee daily financial operations including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations in Xero.
* Manage the budgeting and forecasting process, including regular updates and variance reporting.
* Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (e.g., VAT, PAYE, Corporation Tax).
* Maintain and improve financial controls, procedures, and reporting systems.
* Liaise with external accountants, auditors, and tax advisors as necessary.
* Provide financial insight and support to senior management for strategic initiatives.
* Train and support junior finance staff and oversee their development.
* Generate ad hoc financial reports and analysis as required.
* Available to work 3 days a week
