Overview
Portfolio Manager for Original Equipment Manufacturing. As a key member of the Original Equipment Manufacturing Product Value stream, you will integrate and lead the management of contracts with airline operators flying Dowty Propellers. You will work closely with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders to deliver value to customers, resolve issues and achieve financial and contractual objectives to required timescales. There is opportunity to get involved in commercial tasks to deliver products and services for both civil and military platforms.
Responsibilities
* Leading the delivery of OEM Continuing Airworthiness digital products, in collaboration with the Fleet Support Contract Delivery Manager.
* The Portfolio includes :
o Management and distribution of Technical Publication licences, digital documentation and users administration;
o Management of royalty contracts
o Visual Technical Publications, commercialization and delivery management
o Asset Management software licences and services, commercialization and delivery management
o Supporting administration tasks related to Fleet Support Portfolio – such as users management, issues management and resolution, invoicing, reporting, contract renewals - which can overall represent approximately 30% of the workload.
o Interface between the customer and the internal business team at varying levels of seniority, assuring timely resolution of issues, keeping the customer advised of progress, and negotiating changes or solutions to issues.
o Supports the Commercial team to integrate Digital Fleet Support products in the aftermarket services contracts, bringing voice of the customer and aftermarket feedback.
o Supports Sales team in the offering of fleet support products to customers and operators.
o Interacts and builds networks with other GE units, collaborating to bring added value to the products and services, cross-fertilization and aftermarket intelligence.
o Responsible for adherence to the business financial budget, working with internal stakeholders to ensure we deliver on plan to meet financial objectives, using KPIs where appropriate.
o Uses sound judgment to make decisions and handle complex tasks or problems. Assesss quality of information and asks pertinent questions; able to offer new solutions and provide recommendations.
o Interprets simple internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services.
o Keeps informed of industry trends that may inform work, in particular MRO services and aftermarket of aerospace products and services.
Qualifications
o Owning and delivering financial performance, ideally in a product delivery, manufacturing environment or digital services to aftermarket.
o Experience in a customer facing Product Management, Program Management and/or Contract Management role.
o Knowledge gained within the Aerospace industry.
o Experience of leading cross functional teams in a customer facing role.
Desired Characteristics
o Experience in a direct or indirect role in an aerospace MRO environment or aircraft operator
o Strong oral and written communication skills
o Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
o Experience of leading or participating in commercial proposals and negotiations
