Financial Operations Manager
Location:Crewe (Onsite/Hybrid)
Salary:£40,000-£45,000 plus bonus and benefits
Via is supporting a growing organisation in the search for an experienced Financial Operations Manager to join their finance team.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys taking ownership of financial processes, partnering with stakeholders, and contributing to the ongoing improvement of finance operations.
Youll play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and ensuring smooth day-to-day financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support month-end processes, including preparation and review of management accounts
* Maintain and reconcile general ledgers, ensuring accuracy and completeness
* Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
* Review and approve supplier invoices, ensuring compliance and accuracy
* Support procurement processes and cost control initiatives
* Provide financial insight and reporting to support business decision-making
What Were Looking For:
* Proven experience in financial operations and management accounting
* Strong experience with general ledger management and reconciliations
* Experience supporting budgeting and forecasting processes
* Confident reviewing supplier invoices and managing approvals
* Exposure to procurement activities is advantageous - more important is the desire to expand you knowledge into new areas
* Minimum 5 years relevant experience in a similar role
* Part-qualified or fully qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA) or equivalent experience
