My client are a leading public organisation involved in managing long-term savings and financial security in the UK. Due to an exciting uing project to revamp internal digital channels and migrate to a new intranet, we are partnering to recruit the contract role of Digitalmunications Manager who will act as Internalms guardian during the project.
Your new role
A s Digitalmunications Manager, your role will be to join the project team and work with the technical specialists to implement a new intranet, migrating content to a new platform. Your job will be to act as internalms guardian – you will lead the project from ams perspective, thinking about how digital channels will support the organisation, working with both business stakeholders and users to define requirements and help to guide the development of new digital channels from an internalms perspective. You will work with the technical team to optimisemunications and engagement through internal digital channels, ensuring the build meets the needs of the internalms teams and is fit for optimal business engagement.
You will also act as a true internalms business partner, creating ams plan for the project and keeping the business informed and engaged through the project phases.
What you'll need to succeed
Ultimately, you will be a strong internalmunications professional, with a solid understanding of the digital channels used in internalms and the requirements of an engaging intranet. You will have experience with intranet projects like migrations and implementations to be able to bring your expertise in guiding the project from ams requirements perspective. Experience with sites like Sharepoint and Umbraco would therefore be beneficial. You will have strong people andmunications skills, able tomunicate with stakeholders across senior leadership, technical and internalms teams as well as the wider business. You will be a proactive person, confident with change, able to create and execute internalms plans, and able to project-manage different priorities for an optimal oue.
What you'll get in return
You'll receive a daily rate of up to £280 per day on this contract, likely lasting 6 months with an ideal project delivery date of next Summer. You'll work on a hybrid basis with regular travel to offices in Brighton.
