The role
Teacher of Computer Science
September 2026 - April 2027. Pay Scale - £168.81 - £262.20 (Depending on MPS/UPS Pay Scale). A secondary school on the west side of Birmingham is seeking a Computer Science teacher to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Teach Computer Science across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of Key Stage 5 teaching depending on experience.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Has Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Has strong subject knowledge in Computer Science.
- Can deliver engaging and well-structured lessons that inspire students of all abilities.
- Has high expectations of achievement, behaviour and attendance.
- Works well as part of a collaborative and supportive department.
- Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
