Role
We’re recruiting for a Senior Leadership & Team Development Consultant to join us.
You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of leadership and team effectiveness across L&G. This is a strategic opportunity to embed leadership and team development as a cornerstone of our people strategy and cultural ambition. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders, HR partners, and external providers to deliver impactful, scalable solutions that build capability, foster alignment, and enable high performance.
Responsibilities
* Designing and delivering leadership development programmes aligned to our leadership framework and strategic goals
* Facilitating learning experiences that support senior leaders in enhancing their growth, effectiveness and impact
* Leading team effectiveness interventions using diagnostics, coaching and behavioural frameworks
* Partnering with senior stakeholders to build effective leadership and team cultures
* Collaborating across HR and Talent teams to align leadership strategies with broader people initiatives
* Managing external partners and coaches to scale impact and ensure quality
* Developing metrics and feedback mechanisms to evaluate programme effectiveness
* Shaping and driving the group-wide leadership and team development strategy
Qualifications
* Proven experience in leadership and team development within complex, fast-paced environments
* Strong facilitation and coaching skills, with deep understanding of group dynamics and behavioural change
* Ability to build trusted relationships and influence senior stakeholders with credibility
* Evidence-based mindset with strong diagnostic and evaluation capabilities
* Knowledge of leadership theory, adult learning principles, and organisational culture
* Experience managing external vendors and ensuring alignment with strategic goals
* Collaborative, resilient and adaptable with a growth mindset and commitment to inclusion
* Passionate about enabling people to thrive and creating psychologically safe environments
