We have an exciting opportunity for an RI Technician within this London/Global Broker
Your Role:
* Review claims data to facilitate the preparation of RI Recoveries, in particular of Excess of Loss covers.
* Respond to Broker and Reinsurer queries relating to claims recoveries.
* Liaising with Claims Departments to obtain loss reports for RI recoveries.
* Calculate potential RI implications for extended claims.
* Enter RI policies on internal systems ensuring premiums are paid in a timely manner.
* Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, Re-insurers, Brokers, Underwriters and Claims Teams.
* Support the work of the credit control team to ensure timely receipt of recoveries.
* Perform peer review for tasks completed by the Offshore RI Teams.
* Capturing cover note information on internal systems to ensure that all correct details are detailed.
* Ensure that high standards of service are maintained and improved where possible.
* Determines own work priorities and activities in line with agreed plans to ensure the achievement of personal and team objectives.
About You:
* A high level of numeracy and literacy with proven organizational and analytical skills
* Ability to prioritise work to KPIs.
* Good interpersonal and communication skills
* Ability to analyse data.
