Hours/Weeks: 30 hours per week – 52 weeks per year Contract Type: Permanent – Part Time About The Role We are currently seeking an Admissions Adviser to join our Customer Contact and Admissions department at The Bedford College Group. As an Admissions Adviser, you play an important role in the success of our students through: End-to-End Admissions Management – Handle applications from enquiry to enrolment, ensuring accurate records, timely communication, and alignment with admissions policies to maximise student conversion and retention. Customer-Focused Guidance – Deliver high-quality, impartial information and advice across multiple channels, helping prospective students make informed choices and supporting them through interviews, events, and enrolment. Collaboration & Communication – Act as a key liaison with curriculum teams, attend meetings, and ensure a two-way flow of information to support a seamless admissions process and resolve issues proactively. Systems & Data Integrity – Maintain and update CRM and student records systems, ensuring data accuracy, resolving errors, and supporting communication plans with personalised messaging. Statutory & Professional Standards – Uphold safeguarding, EDI, and health & safety policies, contribute to continuous improvement, and represent the college professionally across all campuses and customer interactions. About You Qualifications & ProfessionalDevelopment – Holds Level 3 education (e.g. A-Levels), GCSEs in English and Maths (A–C), and is committed to ongoing development, including a Level 4 IAG qualification or willingness to achieve it. Experience & Knowledge – Demonstrates experience in administration and customer-facing roles, with strong understanding of GDPR, client confidentiality, and working effectively with diverse backgrounds. Communication & IT Skills – Excellent written and verbal communication, high-level grammar, and strong IT proficiency; able to analyse data, learn new systems quickly, and provide advice across multiple channels. Organisation & Teamwork – Highly organised and detail-oriented, able to manage competing priorities under pressure, work collaboratively, and build effective relationships with stakeholders.
