They are currently seeking an experienced and driven Engineering Manager to lead a high-performing engineering team at their flagship site. Responsibilities include:
Overseeing all engineering and maintenance activities on-site
Leading and developing a skilled team of engineers and technicians across shifts
Managing and implementing preventative and predictive maintenance schedules
Ensuring maximum uptime of production machinery including Casemakers, Die Cutters, Printers, and Gluers
Negotiate service contracts.
Manage the departmental budget and look at cost saving opportunities
Driving continuous improvement projects and supporting CAPEX investments
Collaborating with production, quality, and safety teams to meet operational goals
Ensuring full compliance with H&S, regulatory standards, and company procedures
Essential:
Proven experience in an Engineering Manager, Maintenance Manager, or Lead Engineer role
Strong background in mechanical and electrical systems within a manufacturing environment
Understanding of packaging/food machinery or similar high-speed production equipment
Level 3 or higher qualification in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical) or above ideally HND.
Strong leadership skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindset
