Our client, a leading Oil and Gas firm with a global presence, is seeking a skilled C#.NET Developer to join their dynamic team. The role will focus on enhancing and maintaining their bespoke LNG trading and risk management systems (ETRM). This is an opportunity to work on critical projects within an agile environment, collaborating with highly specialized teams across different regions.
Role Summary:
The successful candidate will work closely with Project Managers, Development Leads, and Business Analysts to support the customization and development of their systems. This includes enhancing .NET-based applications and integrations, with a focus on EOS and physical commodities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop, maintain, and optimize applications using the .NET Framework, including WinForms and WCF services
* Design and implement SQL Server database solutions to support application functionality
* Collaborate with Business Analysts and regional specialists to translate business requirements into technical solutions
* Follow coding standards, implement unit testing, and ensure high-quality delivery
* Use Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipeline deployments and version control
* Work with external vendors and manage inherited codebases
* Align with agile sprint plans and delivery timelines
* Support system enhancements related to LNG and physical commodity trading
Requirements:
Technical Skills:
Proven experience in C#.NET within the .NET Framework (Core is a bonus), solid database design and development using SQL Server, strong knowledge of WinForms and WCF, familiarity with CI/CD using Azure DevOps, and understanding of unit testing and clean code practices.
Domain Knowledge:
Extensive experience with ETRM systems, ideally within LNG or physical commodities trading. Solid grasp of trading workflows and systems customization.
Clear communicator with experience working alongside BAs, dev teams, and global stakeholders. Comfortable managing legacy or vendor-acquired codebases.
