National Account Manager – FMCG
£55,000 - £60,000 + Company Car + Package / Scotland based only please
We’re looking for a proactive National Account Manager to join a leading wholesale and retail group, supporting a national portfolio of key account stores. For decades, this business has helped independent retailers thrive and is now entering an exciting new phase of growth, bringing even greater value to local businesses across the UK.
This is a business who have undergone a massive transformation recently and have leveraged their retail presence into the Wholesale scene. I am specifically looking for someone who works in FMCG. This is a high-profile role where you’ll have the platform and support to make a real impact.
What you’ll do
* Own the full relationship and performance of key accounts, ensuring long-term retention through agreements.
* Deliver annual sales growth targets while driving profitable account performance.
* Grow brand penetration across your account portfolio.
* Develop and execute strategic account plans aligned with business forecasts.
* Build trusted commercial relationships that drive loyalty and minimise churn.
* Identify new growth opportunities within existing accounts, with a focus on branded product ranges.
* Lead Joint Business Plans and commercial reviews to drive key business objectives.
* Negotiate and manage contractual terms with key accounts.
* Ensure compliance with all contract commitments, driving excellence in execution.
* Manage key account store developments and collaborate with internal teams to deliver innovations.
What we’re looking for
* Proven experience managing multi-million-pound partnerships with a strong record of driving sales and growth.
* Expertise in retail negotiation, contract management, and business planning.
* Strong ability to build and manage relationships across multi-site retail operations.
* A strategic, self-motivated mindset with the ability to prioritise effectively and collaborate across teams.
