We’re seeking an experienced HR & Payroll Specialist to join our growing fintech and financial education team. This role is central to building a strong, people-first culture and ensuring all HR and payroll operations run smoothly as we scale. You’ll support the entire employee lifecycle—from onboarding and compliance to payroll processing and staff engagement.
Key Responsibilities
* Administer monthly payroll, pensions, and statutory payments accurately and on time.
* Manage all HR administrative processes including contracts, onboarding, and employee records.
* Advise management and staff on HR policies, procedures, and employment legislation.
* Support recruitment activities and ensure a smooth candidate experience.
* Coordinate performance reviews, training, and employee engagement initiatives.
* Maintain HR systems and ensure compliance with GDPR and UK employment law.
* Contribute to building a positive workplace culture that supports growth and innovation.
Requirements
* Proven experience in HR and payroll within a UK-based organisation.
* Strong understanding of employment law, HR best practices, and payroll systems.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
* High attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information with integrity.
* Experience in tech, fintech, or startup environments is a plus.
