Join to apply for the Senior Manager, CDD Policy & Advisory role at Grant Thornton UK. The Financial Crime team, led by the firm’s MLRO, provides oversight and support to the firm on managing financial crime risk and compliance. Reporting to the Head of Client Due Diligence Policy & Advisory, the team leads on the development, maintenance, and implementation of our CDD policy and standards, ensuring our CDD framework is robust, risk-aligned, and operationally efficient while meeting regulatory expectations. The team also leads the training strategy for the CDD team and supports client outreach to drive consistency, quality, and client experience. This is a senior role requiring deep subject matter expertise and strategic thinking. The role will support ongoing change on CDD and wider onboarding.

Responsibilities
* Provide advice and make decisions on complex corporate/entity related due diligence in UK regulated firms as part of CDD/AML policy work.
* Contribute to the design, development, and implementation of policy, standards and guidance documents related to CDD.
* Lead, design, and deliver training and capability-building initiatives for the CDD function.
* Influence senior stakeholders and support CDD transformation initiatives and ongoing change within onboarding processes.
* Help ensure the CDD framework remains robust, risk-aligned, and compliant with regulatory expectations while maintaining operational efficiency.
Qualifications
* CDD/AML Policy experience in UK regulated firms with ability to advise on complex due diligence.
* Deep understanding of global CDD/KYC regulatory frameworks, industry best practices, and technology including automation and AI.
* Strong track record in drafting, implementing, and managing policy, standards, and guidance documents.
* Experience designing and leading training and capability-building initiatives related to CDD.
* Experience influencing senior stakeholders.
* Proven success in managing and supporting change, including CDD transformation initiatives.
