Electrical Technician - Derry City - Permanent Position: Electrical TechnicianLocation: Derry CitySalary: £30k to £35K (DOE) plus attractive benefits packageRiada Resourcing is recruiting on behalf of a leading advanced manufacturing company for an Electrical Technician to join its specialist DC Systems team. With over 25 years' experience in industrial automation, the company designs and delivers bespoke automation, robotics, and machine-build solutions for clients worldwide.
The successful candidate will support the assembly, wiring, and testing of key products, including DC Battery Tripping Units and Best Battery Diodes, applying expertise in electrical systems, electronics, testing, pneumatics, and automation.
Hours & Working Environment:
7.45am – 5.45pm, Monday to Thursday (38 hours per week)On site role with occasional travel to customer sites (full driving licence preferred)Employee Benefits:

Achieve project milestones within agreed timeframes and budgetsDeliver efficient and courteous customer service and supportLiaise effectively between customers and management to ensure smooth communicationMaintain, repair, and service equipment within a tidy and safe working environmentWork within DC Systems, including cleanroom environments and wet process or automated equipmentLay out, build, test, troubleshoot, repair, and modify electrical, pneumatic, automation, and electronic components and systemsEvaluate, calibrate, and test new or modified circuits and fixturesAssemble or modify systems based on engineering instructions, manuals, and technical knowledgeComplete all required documentation and job related paperworkFollow all health & safety and quality proceduresPromote the capabilities and professionalism of the organisationEssential Criteria:
City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 or 4, BTEC HNC/HND, or equivalent in Electrical or Electronic Engineering (Equivalent time served experience will also be considered)Excellent communication skillsStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Office or equivalentCompetence with hand tools, multimeters, insulation testers, and torque toolsStrong analytical and problem solving skillsAbility to work independently and take ownership of shop floor build processesIf this sounds like the next step in your career, we’d love to hear from you!
