Audio Visual & Digital Support Officer - IT Location: Downshire Civic Centre, Downpatrick, BT30 6GQ | Hours: 36 per week | Employment Type: Temporary | Rate: £19.37 per hour (PAYE) Hatched Recruitment is supporting Newry, Mourne and Down District Council in recruiting an Audio Visual and Digital Support Officer to provide expert IT and AV support across council services. This role ensures seamless delivery of digital and AV solutions, enabling staff to deliver high-quality services. Key Responsibilities: Provide technical support for audio visual systems and IT equipment across the council. Install, maintain, and troubleshoot AV and digital technology systems. Assist staff with IT hardware, software, and digital tools. Set up and operate AV equipment for meetings, presentations, and events. Maintain records of digital assets, equipment, and software licenses. Support training and guidance for staff on digital and AV systems. Ensure compliance with data protection, IT security, and council policies. Candidate Requirements: Experience in IT support, including audio visual systems. Knowledge of digital tools, software, and hardware troubleshooting. Strong organisational and communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Flexible and proactive approach to problem-solving. Additional Information: Full-time, temporary contract for 8 weeks. 36 hours per week. Based in Downpatrick, BT30 6GQ.
