Management Accountant, London Bridge, 50k
This is a temp-to-perm role, based in the office 5 days per week.
We are working with a fast-growing group operating across multiple industries, including IT, commercial licensing, property, and strategic business ventures. They are seeking a Management Accountant who is technically strong, commercially minded, and ambitious, with a desire to progress quickly. This is a unique opportunity to work far beyond traditional accounting, contributing to management reporting, budget planning, acquisition modelling, and new business development.
You will gain exposure across all divisions, from IT and commercial licensing to new buildings, acquisitions, and strategy. For top performers, there is a clear path towards Finance Manager and Financial Controller roles, with the potential to reach senior finance leadership by 2027.
Role Responsibilities
* Prepare accurate and timely management accounts for multiple divisions
* Lead management information reporting and provide cross-divisional financial insight
* Support the creation of budgets and forecasts
* Analyse and identify new revenue opportunities
* Build financial models for acquisitions and new business ventures
* Provide insight across IT, new buildings, commercial licensing, and strategic initiatives
* Prepare department reports, presentation packs, and panel schedules
* Explain financial performance and business impact to senior leaders
* Maintain controls over P&L, balance sheet, and financial processes
* Improve workflows, reporting structures, and system utilisation
* Assist with audit, year-end, and governance activities
* Support the development of new divisions and income streams
* Operate as a future leader with progression into Finance Manager and Financial Controller roles
Previous Experience
* Hands-on month-end and management accounts experience, including variance analysis and commentary
* Advanced Excel skills: pivot tables, lookups, P&L summaries, schedules feeding into management accounts
* Strong Excel capability
* Experience in fast-paced, multi-entity/division environments
* Part-qualified, newly qualified, or qualified accountant (AAT/ACCA/CIMA)
* NetSuite experience
* Exposure to acquisitions, commercial finance, or revenue modelling
* Experience supporting operational or commercial teams
