Dairy Sales Representative
Location: North England - Lancashire, Cumbria, Cheshire, Yorkshire
We are working exclusively with a Global Agricultural Technology company to recruit a Dairy Business Development Manager to join the UK & Ireland team in the North of England. This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for the dairy industry and a strong background in sales to join a dynamic technology led business. This on-farm sales role will allow the right candidate to build on previous experience of sales in the dairy industry, creating new long-lasting relationships that lead to increased sales.
Key Responsibilities
* Increase sales with the existing customer base.
* Generate leads and develop new business relationships with farms in the territory.
* Provide a consultative and technical sales approach direct to dairy farms to show ROI.
* Represent the company at shows, exhibitions, and industry events.
* Keep up to date with industry trends and market opportunities.
* Maintain accurate records within the CRM system and share insights to support wider business initiatives.
* Collaborate with the marketing team, offering ideas, feedback, and support for campaigns.
About You
We are looking for a results-driven individual with:
* Experience with on-farm/B2C sales in the dairy industry.
* A flexible approach to travel within on territory in Scotland, to shows and events with some overnight stays.
* A working understanding & passion for the dairy industry.
* An existing network of dairy farms would be ideal.
* Excellent communication skills and confident in both face-to-face and phone-based sales.
* Ability to manage your own time and priorities.
* Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word).
Remuneration
* Salary of up to £45,000 (DOE)
