We are recruiting on behalf of a leading brand in the consumer goods sector for a Senior Retail Accounts Manager, responsible for overseeing key retail growth across Germany and the Netherlands, while leading a team of three.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead, coach, and develop a team of three sales professionals across Germany and the Netherlands
* Manage and grow relationships with key retail partners within the region
* Identify and secure new business opportunities with retailers not currently trading
* Oversee and strengthen distributor, agent, and direct partner relationships
* Take ownership of sales performance, profitability, and forecasting
* Conduct market and competitor analysis to inform strategic planning
* Represent the brand at relevant trade events across Europe
What We’re Looking For:
* Proven experience managing [non-food] retail accounts across Germany and/or the Netherlands
* Previous leadership or team-management experience (direct or indirect)
* Strong commercial and negotiation skills
* Experience in category management and strategic planning
* Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships across cultures
* Comfortable opening new retail partnerships and driving market penetration
* German and English speaker
