You’ll work across acute hospital clinics, community settings, and outreach locations, collaborating with a wide range of colleagues in the multidisciplinary team from ENT consultants and nurses to GPs and community health professionals. Based in Scunthorpe or Grimsby, you’ll join a warm, supportive team delivering a full range of adult hearing care, including diagnostics, direct referral clinics, and hearing aid fitting and verification.
Responsibilities
* Deliver a full range of adult hearing care, including diagnostics, direct referral clinics, and hearing aid fitting and verification.
Qualifications
* Have a BSc in Audiology (or BAAT Parts 1 & 2 pre-2006) and are registered with AHCS or HCPC, or are newly qualified and eligible to register.
* Can perform diagnostic tests including tympanometry, acoustic reflexes, TEOAE, PTA, otoscopy, and video otoscopy.
* Have experience in hearing aid fitting and verification (REMs) and can spot red flags requiring onward referral.
* Communicate well, work well in a team, and adapt positively to change.
