The successful candidate will work in the Housing Benefit Information team. They will need to be able to manage a few different systems and will be taking calls and will need to demonstrate empathy and strong listening skills.
They will work in office 5 days a weeks from Monday to Friday 9am till 5pm offering customers support regarding Housing Benefit, Council Tax support, Resident Support Fund, and DHP applications. The team provides a comprehensive telephone service, helping customers with their queries and application and offers them advice on the next steps and explanations regarding their claims. Additionally, escalate any outstanding work to the back office for Housing Benefit, ensuring that no issue goes unresolved.
