Overview
In this position you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide a quality radiology service for our patients and referring medical staff. This will involve providing clinical support to Doctors and Radiographers throughout the department, and assisting with manual handling tasks in a manner which is safe for both patients and staff. You will be required to rotate through different Radiology areas (Ultrasound, CT, MRI, Breast unit and A&E imaging) and assist the staff in providing the highest qualities of care to a diverse range of patients.

* Provide clinical support to Doctors and Radiographers throughout the department and assist with manual handling tasks in a safe manner for patients and staff.
* Support the Radiology Department team in delivering a quality radiology service.
* Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and care standards are maintained.

The department is undergoing a multi-million-pound redevelopment program whereby Nuclear Medicine, MRI and the Interventional Unit are upgrading their equipment. The working pattern is a mixture of day shifts over 7 days. The department actively encourages continued professional development (CPD) and opportunities are available for further training and development.
