Technical Advisor - Monitoring and Data Systems Team - 32406

As a Technical Advisor in the Monitoring Data & Systems Team (MDS), you will manage significant environmental monitoring systems and datasets, support users, and contribute to system improvements across Water Quality and other monitoring data.
Responsibilities
* Set up and manage users.
* Support users and resolve issues, especially during the transition to our new My Environment application.
* Update, improve and maintain datasets.
* Respond to internal and external data requests.
* Support system improvement and upgrade projects.
Qualifications
* Experience working with large, complex datasets.
* Willingness to develop and learn new technical skills and apply them across monitoring data and systems.
* Motivated, organised, friendly and helpful with an eye for detail; comfortable in a dispersed team environment.
* Proactive and enjoys solving problems.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to convey complex technical information to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
* Ability to build and maintain strong relationships, deliver through others and provide excellent customer service.
* Desirable: experience managing environmental monitoring data systems; knowledge of PowerBI, Access, Excel, Python, SharePoint Online and R.
* Working knowledge of water quality monitoring.
