Our clients are looking for a Temporary Systems Accountant to lead the transition of their accounting system from Sage 50 to Xero. This role involves managing the full migration process, including cleaning and transferring data, configuring Xero to meet their reporting and control requirements, and ensuring accuracy through testing and reconciliation. The Systems Accountant will streamline and document new processes, support day‑to‑day finance operations during the change, and provide training and guidance to colleagues to ensure a smooth adoption of the new system. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with both Sage 50 and Xero, strong technical accounting skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while engaging effectively with internal stakeholders.
