Role Purpose:
We are seeking a highly capable and strategic HR Business Partner to play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering our people agenda. This role is responsible for aligning HR strategies with business objectives, acting as a trusted advisor to leaders, and enabling high performance through effective people solutions.
The ideal candidate will bring significant experience in leading organisational change and transformation within complex, fast-paced environments, ideally within a technical, engineering, or high-performance industry. You will have a proven track record of successfully navigating ambiguity and driving cultural and structural change to support business evolution and growth.
As a key member of our HR Business Partnering team, you will take a proactive and consultative approach to influence decision-making at all levels. You’ll be deeply embedded in your business units, enabling leaders to optimise team performance, build capability, and deliver on strategic goals. Strong stakeholder management, data-informed insight, and an enterprise mindset are essential to succeed in this role.

Main Duties:
* Act as a trusted advisor to managers and leaders, building effective partnerships to provide consultative, strategic, and tactical guidance acrossorganisational and development initiatives.
* Contribute to the development of management capability via the Williams values & behaviours framework.
* Advise, coach and empower managers and employees on HR-related matters.
* Manage and effectively support managers to resolve all types and levels of ER cases including.
* Keep up to date with UK law and incorporate changes into our policies and procedures.
* Work with leadership to identify skills and capability gapsand, in partnership with the relevant business functions to create and implement effective workforce planning processes.
* Support people planning and review processes, partnering with the Learning and Development function on training needs identification, and solutions that improve talent development and retention.
* Use internal and external data and insights to support objective decision-making within client areas; working with the HR Operations team to optimise effective use of Workday data.
* Collaborate with Centres of Excellence to seek out efficiencies that promote customer experience and innovative process improvements within the HR team to drive a culture of sustainable high performance in our mission to win multiple world championships.

Qualifications & Experience:
* Proven HR experience in a strategic partnering role within a commercial environment.
* Demonstrated expertise in change management and transformation.
* Strong ER knowledge with up-to-date understanding of UK employment law.
* CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent) required.
