Responsibilities
* Participate in implementation of the Production and mechanical maintenance strategy to ensure reliability of production sites.
* Supervise and perform operation and mechanical maintenance operations with full safety and environmental compliance.
* Apply the “Maintain the production and distribution tool” process and ensure all site activities are safe.
* Monitor and adjust operating parameters to maintain production rates safely and cost‑effectively.
* Respond expediently to plant upsets and alarms, restoring control in minimal time.
* Control contractors on site and issue work permits as required, providing induction training.
* Carry out routine tasks and quality checks.
* Ensure maintenance activities are risk‑assessed and executed safely.
* Take primary responsibility for routine maintenance and repair of all process equipment and provide oversight to contractors.
* Contribute to mechanical operations progress within budget and schedule, in line with purchasing process.
* Develop and monitor mechanical maintenance program, including pressure equipment.
* Coordinate daily tasks for the mechanical department.
* Follow‑up on technical services of subcontractors.
* Participate in spare parts management of the department.
* Detect and report technical anomalies, proposing preventive actions to improve product quality and reliability.
* Participate in mechanical guard QHSE system.
* Monitor safety, environment, and risk management in accordance with legal provisions.
* Participate in site SQE/MR meetings as availability allows.
* Draft procedures or operating methods specific to the mechanical department.
* Manage local environmental aspects and other ISO standard requirements as part of daily operations.
Qualifications
* Completion of training course with authorization.
* Knowledge of AL techniques.
* Training in GMPs relevant to the role.
* Food Safety Training, including HACCP appreciation.
