Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the responsibilities include planning and implementing load control activities based on the operational requirements outlined. Responsible for the Load Control Operations and followed by the quality audit duties of Dispatchers, the role involves giving assistance to crews, customers, third party contractors, stake holders, airport authority and colleagues, a traffic dispatcher must have initiative and resilience. Reporting any irregularities directly to the Operations Manager where necessary to ensure a high level of customer service is provided.
* Manage day to day Load Control of flights as per operational requirements, ensuring disruption is considered.
* Liaising with customers and dissemination of information regarding arriving and departing flights.
* Ensure all Load Control duties outlined & airline operational requirements are met such as requesting flight plans, movement/delay messages are sent, airline systems are updated and referred to and monitoring progress of live flights is undertaken.
* Involved in staff Coaching and Mentoring.
* Be a strong leader with excellent interpersonal and motivational skills, with the ability to assert authority, when necessary, whilst maintaining good relations.
* Manage delays incurred by the Company and occurrences are reported to the Operations Senior Supervisor.
* Liaise with Airline Customers, Airport Authorities and 3rd Party contractors.
* Ensure appropriate and accurate reporting of all accidents incurred.
* Ensure all staff fully comply with Company Safety & Security Policies and the Company Policies.
* Ensure safety is never compromised whilst fully complying with The Health & Safety at Work Act 1984 and Revisions.
* Be highly self-motivated, in possession of good communication skills and the ability, to prioritise tasks whilst also organising & co-ordinating the tasks of the team.
* Be capable of working in a pressurised environment with tight deadlines. Be able to be flexible at all times and adapt different working practices and changes.
* Be organised and strictly Adhere to the Check List to ensure smooth Operation.
* Hold a FULL UK Drivers License.
* Any other reasonable duties.

· Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
· Communicate effectively with other departments to meet operational / organisational deadlines.
