We're a small but ambitious bakery producing breads, cakes, and wholesale orders for our own cafés and local partners. We're now looking for a Bread Baker to lead our baking operations, bringing both skill and creativity to the table.
What we're looking for
* Strong understanding of sourdough baking and artisan bread-making.
* Experience with viennoiserie (desirable but not essential).
* A passion for fresh ideas, seasonal inspiration, and market trends.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a small, dedicated team.
Your responsibilities
* Produce a range of breads & (potentially) pastries to the highest quality.
* Maintain consistency across all products while introducing exciting new lines.
* Oversee day-to-day bakery operations, ensuring efficiency and quality.
* Maintain a clean, organised and safe kitchen environment.
* Follow food safety standards and hygiene regulations at all times.
The role
* 30 hours per week, with potential to increase to 40 once settled.
* £14 per hour starting wage.
