Position Overview
Plans and directs day-to-day operations and strategic direction of multiple large construction projects, mentoring junior team members.
Responsibilities
1. Project Management
Lead and manage multiple large capital projects, providing guidance and project leadership including ground-up construction, remodels, renovations, infrastructure upgrades, and replacements, ensuring projects meet or exceed expectations.
2. Vendor Relations
Manage external vendors such as General Contractors, A&E design teams, commissioning agents, and equipment suppliers. Establish and maintain high-value relationships.
3. Training Programs
Identify and develop training programs; provide cross-functional training.
4. Contract Administration
Develop and implement contract administration procedures, including review and monitoring of contracts, change orders, and cost forecasts.
5. Leadership
Mentor junior team members; coordinate with internal teams to resolve complex issues.
6. Policy & Procedure Development
Contribute to creating and maintaining best-in-class policies and procedures.
Qualifications
* 10+ years of experience in project and construction management preferred.
* Bachelor's degree preferred.
