Ewe Restaurant is seeking an experienced Sous Chef to join their team and assist the Head Chef at our all day eatery in Westhoughton. The successful candidate will be a natural leader, personable and passionate about all thing's food and drink.

We're looking for a Sous Chef with a casual dining background and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Sous Chef is one of the most exciting roles within the business, where you will have responsibility of your department, with the opportunity to implement and effect change under supervision of the Head Chef.
As Sous Chef, you will be a supportive, hands-on, proactive, and enthusiastic leader, injecting your personality into your work and inspiring the team to deliver a warm and memorable guest experience.
You will continually commit to the highest standards of service and operations. As a second in command in the kitchen you will assist the Head Chef managing business financials, helping develop menus, with recruitment and team development, stock management, food safety and hygiene, whilst also ensuring that the company policies and procedures are maintained.
As Sous Chef you will be responsible for:
* Assisting the Head Chef in the running of a smooth day to day operation
* Inspiring, motivating and training kitchen staff to deliver the highest levels of service
* Working to instil a positive and collaborative relationship between both front and back of house teams
* Helping the Head Chef with kitchen team recruitment
* Helping with menu development and implementing menu changes
* Monitoring and maintaining high quality of food
* Ensuring the operation adheres to hygiene, food safety, and H&S regulations
The successful Sous Chef will have:
* Previous experience as a Sous Chef in a casual dining restaurant
* A warm and welcoming persona, along with a hands-on approach to work and impeccable attention to detail
* Passion for hospitality and a good knowledge of food and beverage
* Eagerness to learn and develop your career within a new ambitious restaurant concept
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £32,000.00 per year
