Senior Destinations, Incentives & Marketing Manager
Whytmatter have a very exciting role with our client, who a forward thinking Events Organisation. They are seeking a talented and proactive Senior Manager with at least three years’ experience in the Events, Tourism and Hospitality sectors. We are looking for someone who is resourceful, full of ideas, who is willing and able to deliver unique Event, DMC and Incentive solutions for corporate and private clients across Europe and further afield seeking to explore all that Ireland and the UK, has to offer.
We are looking for an experienced, connected individual who is creative, organised, enthusiastic and hardworking. This individual must be able to win new business, have superb communication skills, work well under pressure and juggle a variety of concurrent tasks at different levels. Someone who enjoys excitement, is fun, polite, and outgoing, would also be a bonus!

Duties and Key Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
· Lead the creation and development of Destination Management services offered by the company.
· Proactively target and promote these services across MICE industry events, conferences & showcases
· Work in partnership with local tourism and hospitality partners (venues, organisations, hotels etc.,) to build and promote collaborative partnerships
· Working with key clients to project manage an enquiry from pitch/proposal stage to scoping delivery and budget.
· Researching current event and incentive trends, new ideas, locations, travel, entertainment, and venues, all contributing to the creation of exciting new event concepts
· Using your contacts and industry knowledge, develop and strengthen tourism and incentive travel relationships - repeat of above?
· Assisting the company with business development and new concepts, championing innovation and networking at home and abroad – across other sectors?
Working primarily Monday - Friday 9am to 5pm as well as additional evenings and weekends when events are taking place or representation at trade gatherings is required.
Essential Criteria
· 3rd Level Qualification preferably in; Hospitality, Tourism or Event Management.
· Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role with transferable skills and connections
· Demonstratable examples of project management and multi-tasking ability.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications - particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint/Canva.
· Attention to detail and accuracy in all communication forms - excellent oral and written communication skills essential.
Desirable Criteria
· Experience in organising an event, exhibition, or conference either individually or as part of a team.
· Some sales/marketing campaign and social media planning would be welcome
· Experience in recruiting and auditioning suppliers, entertainment, and venues
· Experience in managing, multiple projects, concurrently with a team and delegating to colleagues
· Full UK driving licence with access to a car during employment
