Job Description:
* Brand new specialist setting
* SEMH students aged 6-19
* Tutoring in various subjects
* 8:30am - 3:15pm
* Full-time/Long-term
This setting supports children and young people experiencing social, emotional, and mental health difficulties. Many students may also have additional developmental needs, including autism, impacting their emotional health and creating barriers to learning.
They are an alternative “all-through” provision offering educational placements for children and young people who cannot be accommodated in mainstream or special schools. They educate students one-on-one or in small groups to foster positive relationships and build confidence.
The role
The main site is located near Bridgwater, with a new site opening in Bridgwater from September. They seek full-time Tutors capable of tutoring from EYFS to GCSE Higher level.
Experience working with SEMH is essential, and a genuine interest in mental health is preferred. A teaching qualification is desirable but not mandatory.
