Responsibilities
* Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
* Act as a role model in delivering evidence‑based, patient‑centred care.
* Administer medication safely in line with NMC and Trust policies.
* Support SSIS data collection and follow‑up calls, recording information appropriately, in line with GDPR.
* Manage Ward attenders and review surgical wounds including wound management, as per trust policy.
* Monitor and review nursing practice to ensure compliance with best practice and Trust frameworks.
* Provide sensitive care and support to patients and families, particularly around complex needs and emotional aspects of illness.
* Ensure safe use of medical devices and appropriate use of pressure area care equipment.
